PC Gamer’s Worst Nightmare

Usually brands wait until April Fools to make funny viral content, but the problem with that is that you are competing with every other brand, not even just your competitors!

So why wait to make something funny? Halloween is a great time of year that many people celebrate all month long, so I aimed to create something that marketed our new products that fed into the Halloween spirit!

The second year we attempted this, resulted in this hit, the first creative marketing video from Corsair to hit over a million views across platforms, doing really well on YouTube, Facebook and Reddit.

“But where can we film it?”

The video was filmed by the amazingly talented Scott Enberg in his incredibly creepy looking garage. Those chains and that scary looking chair are his, I didn’t ask any questions about that.

Adam Jackson, the Partnership Manager at Corsair, was the star of the video, and absolutely killed his performance after just a little bit of my directing.

Not bad for a budget of zero dollars right?
