Giant RGB Fan

I was tasked with creating an ad campaign around our line of PC cooling fans that would last an entire week, like Shark Week but for fans. Yet there was no new product launches we were planning, so how could I make this splash?

That’s when I had the idea for the LL 500mm RGB Fan, a Corsair case fan that was 20 inches tall and lit in RGB lighting that worked with our proprietary software.

To create the fan, I reached out to Volpin Props who creates cosplay props for the gaming industry. Working with them on the specs and details, they were able to produce the fan ahead of schedule and within budget.

The video for it earned 2.5 million views across platforms within the first 48 hours. It was adored by customers, influencers and eventually even media, including PCGamer.com who published it. To this day, people are still asking Corsair to make this fan for real for customers.
